Project in brief

The Enterprise Europe Network, established in 2007, is the European Commission’s flagship support initiative for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). It is the largest business support network in the world, with representation in over 50 countries, including all 27 EU Member States and 27 third countries. 

Its core mission is to support innovation, drive the green and digital transitions, enhance SME resilience, and promote business growth and internationalization. 

Key services offered include: 

  • Guidance on compliance with EU Single Market regulations 
  • Support in identifying suitable funding opportunities (e.g., EU programmes, public grants, private investment) 
  • Organization of information sessions on new EU policies, regulations, and standards 
  • Training seminars to develop skills in innovation and business growth 
  • Assistance in accessing international markets and identifying reliable business partners 
  • Coordination of B2B meetings and international networking events at trade fairs 
  • Promotion of Cypriot business, technology, and research proposals to foster cross-border collaboration 
  • Facilitation of technology and knowledge transfer to improve products, services, and processes 
  • Awareness-raising on intellectual property rights 
  • Promotion of EU public consultations and collection of feedback from Cypriot businesses to help shape SME-friendly legislation
