Department of European Affairs and Programmes
Bringing Europe closer to the business community of Cyprus is the core mission of the Department of European Affairs and Programmes. This is achieved through its participation in European Commission funded projects and initiatives, but also through its membership in the Enterprise Europe Network allowing the CCCI to provide enterprises all over Cyprus with free advice and immediate access to EU policies, legislation, EU funding, opportunities for business, technological and research cooperation, participation in EU public consultation and other information of interest to European businesses. Additionally, the Mediation Service of the CCCI operates under this Department, offering inter-alia training seminars in this field.
The CCCI has a long-standing experience in participating in EC funded projects, both as a coordinator as well as a partner. It is the Chamber’s belief that such projects are an invaluable tool for acquiring experience and gaining access to sources of knowledge relevant to the interests of its member enterprises with the final aim of transferring it to them, be that of educational nature, training, research, or hands-on experience, in fields ranging from digitalization, social economy, green skills, circular economy, diversity management, innovative funding mechanisms, cross-border business cooperation and so on. If you are looking for a reliable partner for your project covering the entire territory of the Republic of Cyprus, look no further.
