Marketing Information Notice

This marketing privacy notice tells you how the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (“CCCI”) uses your personal data in order to send you circulars, newsletters and other updates that may be of interest to you by e-mail. In collecting your information, we are acting as a data controller and, by law, we are required to provide you with information about us, about why and how we use your data, and about the rights you have over your data.

What personal data we use

We collect your name, e-mail address, company, telephone number and city, either when you subscribe to receive communications from us, or, if you are an existing member of the CCCI.

Why we collect this information

We will use your information to send you our circulars, newsletters, and other updates which will contain information that may be of interest to you.

If you are not a member of the CCCI we ask for your consent to do this, and we will only send you our circulars, newsletters and other updates for as long as you continue to consent.

If you are a member of the CCCI we rely on our legitimate interests to send you our circulars, newsletters and updates as you have shown interest in our services. If you do not wish to receive this information, you can object to this at any time, by contacting our Data Protection Officer polis@ccci.org.cy at or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our e-mails.

What we do with your information

Your information is stored in our database and is not shared with any third parties. It is not sent outside of Cyprus. We will not use the information to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

How long we keep your information for

Your information for marketing purposes is kept for as long as you continue to consent to receive our circulars, newsletters and updates or until you object to this by contacting our Data Protection Officer or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our e-mails.

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.

You can also ask for it to be erased and you can ask for us to give you a copy of the information.

You can also ask us to stop using your information – the simplest way to do this is to withdraw your consent, which you can do at any time. You can do this:
