The Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which recently signed a cooperation protocol with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), is organizing a business mission to Cyprus with the participation of 8 German companies specializing in energy efficiency and energy performance areas. This mission will take place between July 1, 2024, and July 4, 2024.

On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there will be a seminar with a networking session at the Crowne Plaza Limassol hotel. Participating companies will showcase their products and services, emphasizing energy modernization for commercial and hotel buildings, as well as industrial applications.
Invited speakers from Germany and Cyprus will present innovative technologies and best practices applied in Germany, while also discussing industry prospects in Cyprus.

On July 3, 2024, and July 4, 2024, there will be opportunities for B2B meetings with the participating German companies, aiming to establish new collaborations.

We would like to inform you that the Department of Environment has announced an extension for the submission of applications in the Emissions Reduction Scheme for Businesses. The deadline has been extended until July 31, 2024, or until the available budget of €5 million is exhausted, whichever comes first.

Applications and the required documentation should be submitted only by registered mail to the following address: Director of the Department of Environment, 1498 Nicosia. The application form has been revised and can be obtained here along with the Appendices.

Interested parties are advised to carefully review the Implementation Guide of the Scheme, as well as all announcements posted on the Department of Environment’s website.
