Commencement of Submission of Proposals to the Funding Programmes System of the
Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry – 2nd Call for Proposals for the New Entrepreneurship Support Plan
We would like to inform you that the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry (MRCI) has announced the Invitation to submit applications under the 2nd Call of the New Entrepreneurship Support Plan.
We would like to inform you that the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, in the context of promoting the Community System of the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) in companies, announced the launching of the State Funding Scheme 2024 for the Introduction of an Environmental Management System based on the provisions of the relevant Regulation 1221/2009/EC.
The Scheme concerns the provision of state funding to enterprises and organizations of all economic activities (private, semi-governmental, or even public sector if they carry out an economic activity defined in the Funding Scheme) that will install an Environmental Management System according to EMAS, per the provisions of Regulation 1221/2009/EC, to address the environmental aspects of companies/organizations, reduce the use of natural resources and continuously improve their environmental performance.
The Scheme is based on de minimis aid. It provides for a subsidy of 70% of the expenditure for the provision of services for the installation of an Environmental Management System, with a maximum amount of €2,000, and for system verification and validation a maximum amount of €500. With the same amount, €500, the Transition Expenditure from ISO 14001 to EMAS is also financed.
The deadline for submitting applications is November 1, 2024. Entitled to apply are all companies and organizations that will apply for registration in the EMAS Registry at the latest by the above date.

The aim is to inform the Cypriot companies about the technologically advanced products and services enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of cybersecurity between Poland and Cyprus.
