The AgriFood Digital Transition & Sustainability Bootcamp is designed to connect and upskill the agrifood ecosystem in Cyprus, promoting the adaptation of technological solutions to foster digital transition, innovation and sustainability. The program will feature interactive panel discussions, workshops, peer mentoring, and extensive networking opportunities.
Key agenda items include exploring the role of digital technologies within the Agrifood sector, strategies to overcome sectoral challenges through a panel discussion, discovering various funding opportunities available to Agrifood stakeholders in another and learning to leverage digital technologies for sustainable Agrifood practices in a dedicated workshop.
On the second day, participants will collaborate with experts to identify specific sectoral challenges, identify and discuss solutions using digital technologies. This hands-on approach aims to equip attendees with practical insights for a digital and green transition of their operations to achieve business sustainability.
Panelists will include innovative companies active within the Agrifood sector, representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Research and Innovation Foundation and the European Office of Cyprus, as well as representatives from the academic and research scene. This diverse lineup ensures a comprehensive exploration of the challenges and opportunities within the sector.
