Το Κυπριακό Εμπορικό και Βιομηχανικό Επιμελητήριο (ΚΕΒΕ) διοργανώνει ενημερωτική εκδήλωση / εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα, στο πλαίσιο των ευρωπαϊκών έργων Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) και EE4SMEs, με στόχο την ενίσχυση της βιωσιμότητας και της πράσινης μετάβασης των κυπριακών μικρομεσαίων επιχειρήσεων (ΜμΕ).

Η εκδήλωση απευθύνεται κυρίως σε επιχειρήσεις που δραστηριοποιούνται στους τομείς της παραγωγής τροφίμων, της επεξεργασίας μετάλλων και του τουρισμού/εστίασης, χωρίς ωστόσο να αποκλείεται η συμμετοχή επιχειρήσεων από άλλους κλάδους. Στόχος της είναι η παροχή πρακτικής πληροφόρησης σχετικά με:

• Την ανάγκη συμμόρφωσης με τα κριτήρια ESG (Περιβάλλον, Κοινωνία, Διακυβέρνηση)
• Τη νέα Ευρωπαϊκή Οδηγία για τη Βιώσιμη Αναφορά (CSRD) και η σημασία της για τις ΜμΕ
• Την ανάγκη για Ενεργειακή Πολιτική – Τρόποι βελτίωσης της ενεργειακής απόδοσης των επιχειρήσεων και διαθέσιμες πράσινες τεχνολογικές λύσεις (Ενεργειακοί Έλεγχοι, Life Cycle Cost Analysis – LCCA, Συστήματα Παρακολούθησης και Διαχείρισης Ενέργειας – EMS, πλατφόρμα EEN)
• Την παρουσίαση καλών πρακτικών, όπως η χρήση της πλατφόρμας IMPAWATT για την αυτό-αξιολόγηση της ενεργειακής απόδοσης των επιχειρήσεων και την παροχή στοχευμένων και πρακτικών λύσεων για τη βελτίωσή της.

The European AI Office launched a call for evidence and public consultation on its Apply AI Strategy, planned to be published later this year.

The Apply AI Strategy is part of President von der Leyen’s Political Guidelines to make Europe a global leader in AI innovation. The Strategy will serve as a blueprint for the full adoption of AI in EU strategic sectors, leading to the strengthening of the AI Continent.

In particular, the Apply AI Strategy aims to enable European companies to be global AI front-runners, increase the quality of services in the public sector, and foster the integration of AI technologies into strategic sectors. Serving as EU’s overarching AI Strategy, the Apply AI Strategy will establish links to the European Strategy for AI in Science, which will be adopted at the same time.

In this context, the AI Office invites you to submit your input through the public consultation platform. This will help us to identify priorities, current challenges to the uptake of AI in specific sectors as well as potential solutions and policy approaches. The consultation also includes specific questions on the challenges in the AI Act implementation process and adoption of AI and ascertain how the Commission and Member States can support stakeholders better in the implementation of the legislation. It will remain open until 4 June 2025.
