Public Consultation on THE ELECTRICITY (AMENDMENT) LAW OF 2025

We would like to inform you that the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Services is conducting a Public Consultation on the draft legislation titled “THE ELECTRICITY (AMENDMENT) LAW OF 2025” and “THE ELECTRICITY AMENDMENT REGULATIONS OF 2025 – Regulations under Article 10 of the Law.”
The drafts have been prepared to update and improve the existing legal framework for the electricity sector in Cyprus. These amendments are necessary to adapt to modern energy market requirements and align with European directives.
You can participate in the Public Consultation through the e-Consultation online platform until Monday, April 7, 2025.

Cyprus – Vietnam Business Forum Expanding Horizons for Trade and Investments

Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in cooperation with the Embassy of Vietnam, are organizing the Cyprus – Vietnam Business Forum on “Expanding Horizons for Trade and Investments”. The aforementioned event will take place at the premises of CCCI, on March 27, from 14:45 to 18:00.

During the conference, the Ambassador of Vietnam will deliver an opening remark, while the Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Vietnam will present the trade and investment opportunities available for Cypriot companies in Vietnam. Furthermore, participants shall be afforded the opportunity to gain valuable insights from a Cypriot enterprise currently operating in Vietnam.

Prospective attendees of the Cyprus – Vietnam Business Forum are cordially requested to confirm their participation by no later than March 26, HERE, so that we may proceed with the necessary arrangements.
