Enterprise Europe Network

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is the main instrument of the European Commission in helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve their competitiveness and innovation and grow on an international scale.

On the grounds of this objective, the Network is providing free of charge, integrated supporting services, dedicated to the following areas:

  • International Partnerships

  • Support for Business Innovation

The Network is co-financed by the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises 2014-2020 (COSME) and will continue to receive EU Funding for the next programming period 2021-2027. It is the largest SME Support Network in the world with representation in more than 65 countries.

In Cyprus, the Network is represented by the Consortium named Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus (EEN-Cy) and consists of the following organisations: the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI), the European Office of Cyprus and the Research & Innovation Foundation (IDEK), which has the role of coordinator.
