Extension of the Urban Amnesty Plan until 23 June 2025

The Ministry of Interior announced the extension of the Urban Amnesty Plan for an additional three months that is until June 23, 2025. The decision was made taking into account the increased interest in recent weeks, as well as the recommendation of the Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK).

Since the implementation of the Plan on September 23, 2024, 948 applications have been filed in all districts. In detail, 310 applications have been submitted in Nicosia, 279 in Limassol, 92 in Larnaca, 204 in Paphos and 63 in Famagusta. It is noteworthy that 89% of the applications concern regularization of urban planning irregularities in residential developments.
