Price Index of Construction Materials – Annual Change -2,21% – Jan & Feb 2024
The Price Index of Construction Materials for February 2024 reached 116,95 units (base year 2021=100), recording a decrease of 0,06% compared to the previous month.
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the index recorded a decrease of 2,21%. By main commodity category, decreases were recorded in products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics (-0,73%) and metallic products (-8,00%), whereas increases were observed in minerals (1,22%), mineral products (0,54%) and electromechanical products (0,35%).
For the period January-February 2024, the index recorded a decrease of 2,23% compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
