We inform you that the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Services will continue to accept applications for participation in the written examinations for obtaining a vehicle technician license, on the three days of November 27, 28, and 29, 2024.
Applications for participation in the written examination can be submitted at the Central and District Offices of the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Services, no later than 31/07/2024. The participation fee for the written examination is set at €34.00 for each specialty.
Application forms for participation in the written examination are available at the Central and District Offices of the Department, as well as on the Department’s website under the field “Announcements – Announcement for written examination for vehicle technicians – Application form for participation in the written examination.”

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry conducts an annual planning process regarding international exhibitions (agricultural and industrial products) in which it will participate with a state pavilion the following year. This process takes into account the suggestions of interested parties as well as the success of participation in certain exhibitions in previous years.
To this end, please inform us of your suggestions and proposals for international exhibitions where Cyprus’s participation with a state pavilion would be beneficial in 2025. The Ministry will review all received suggestions and make the appropriate decisions accordingly.

We would like to inform you that the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation is organizing the first mission to Japan mission targeting Smart Factory & Robotics sectors.
This mission is organized on the fringe of the “Factory Innovation Week” fair held in January 2025 in Tokyo, Japan. During this 3-day fair, selected participants will be able to exhibit in a joint booth under the EU-Japan Centre umbrella. (For more info about this fair https://www.fiweek.jp/hub/en-gb.html )
The mission will give to 12 EU SMEs and clusters the opportunity to enter the Japanese market or further develop their ongoing activities in the country and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale.
