The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) would like to inform its members that, in cooperation with the Embassy of Poland in Cyprus, it is organizing the POLCYBER 2025 Forum, titled: “Polish–Cypriot Cooperation on Defence and Cybersecurity”, on the 6th of November 2025, at the CCCI premises in Nicosia.

The event aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Cyprus and Poland in the fields of defence, cybersecurity, and advanced technologies, and to promote business partnerships between companies and institutions from both countries.

The programme includes:

Opening remarks by Mr. Stavros Stavrou, President of the CCCI, and H.E. Marek Szczepanowski, Ambassador of Poland to Cyprus.
Presentations by key Cypriot and Polish institutions, including CARIE, the Digital Security Authority, and the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence.
The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Cyprus Defence Cluster and Aviation Valley Association (Poland).
A panel discussion on Defence, Cybersecurity & Strategic Cooperation with the participation of high-level officials and experts.
Networking lunch and B2B meetings between Cypriot and Polish companies.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required due to limited seating. Mr Peter Hinssen – Exclusive Talk on Innovation in the Era of Uncertainty

Please be informed that the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as strategic partner, is supporting a highly important event organised by the European University Cyprus (EUC), within the framework of the LEVEL UP project and the EUC AI Awareness Month (European University Cyprus Artificial Intelligence Month).

EUC will host the internationally renowned expert in innovation, leadership, and technology, Mr Peter Hinssen, who will deliver an exclusive talk titled: “How to Leverage Innovation and Digital Technologies in the Era of Uncertainty.”

The event will take place on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, from 17:30 to 19:30, at the European University Cyprus Cultural Centre, and will conclude with a cocktail reception.

The event is part of the initiatives to promote innovation and artificial intelligence, offering an exceptional opportunity for business executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, and students to watch one of the most distinguished international speakers and to network with leading figures from the Cypriot business and academic communities.

Mr Peter Hinssen is considered one of the globally recognised thinkers in the field of innovation and digital transformation. He is the author of international best-sellers, an advisor to the boards of some of the world’s most influential technology companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple, and a Visiting Professor at the London Business School. With years of experience in innovation strategy, he is distinguished by his insightful vision, humour, and dynamic presence.

New Charges for Larnaca and Limassol Ports

We would like to inform you that the Cyprus Ports Authority has announced an adjustment of its charges for the use of port facilities and the provision of services to vessels at the ports of Larnaca and Limassol.

The new charges will take effect on 20 October 2025.
