We would like to inform you that the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation collaborates with various online and hybrid startup programs and events in Japan. European startups and innovative companies with an interest in Japan can express their interest in becoming a Centre’s nominee for startup events (both online and hybrid) taking place in autumn 2023. The activity is led by the Centre’s Technology Transfer Helpdesk jointly with the Enterprise Europe Network Japan.

We would like to inform you that the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Youth has announced that the application process for admission to the Public School of Higher Vocational Education and Training – MIIEK has begun.

The Study Programs will operate in MIIEK branches in Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, and the new branch, the Absolute Institute of Technical Education (AITE), in Limassol. The establishment of AITE increases the available positions and offers the opportunity for morning or afternoon studies for the first time.

To secure a place for studies at MIIEK, a scoring system is applied, governed by measurable and transparent criteria.

Applications for admission will be submitted electronically through the website of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Youth (www.moec.gov.cy) or through the MIIEK website (www.mieek.ac.cy). Applications can be submitted electronically until Friday, August 18, 2023, while the registrations of those who secure a place will take place within two weeks from the day of the results announcement.
