Business Delegation to Vienna-Austria December 2023

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry are organising in co-operation with the Cyprus-Austria Business Association a Business Delegation and Forum in Vienna, between 5-7 December 2023, aimed at the broad promotion of business relations between the business communities of Cyprus and Austria. The focus themes for the event will be set based on the interests of the Cypriot companies participating with emphasis on ICT and related services.

The Forum will take place in on Wednesday, 6th of December 2023 (the exact time and venue will be communicated to the participants in due course).

It will be immediately followed by a networking reception where Cypriot businesspeople will have the opportunity to meet their counterparts from Austria.

There will be a cap of 12 Cypriot companies, thus those interested in participating are kindly requested to complete the participation form electronically, not later than Friday, 10th of November 2023. The relevant form can be found HERE.

Ο εργοδότης οφείλει να παρέχει σε κάθε εργοδοτούμενο/η κατάλληλη και επαρκή εκπαίδευση στον τομέα της Ασφάλειας και Υγείας, ιδίως υπό μορφή πληροφοριών και οδηγιών που αφορούν ειδικά στη θέση εργασίας ή στα καθήκοντά του/της κατά την
(α) πρόσληψη,
(β) τυχόν μετάθεση ή αλλαγή των καθηκόντων,
(γ) εισαγωγή ή αλλαγή εξοπλισμού εργασίας,
(δ) εισαγωγή μιας νέας τεχνολογίας, και
(ε) εισαγωγή νέων ή αλλαγή υφιστάμενων συστημάτων ή μεθόδων εργασίας στους χώρους
εργασίας.

Ο εργοδότης πρέπει να φροντίζει ώστε η εκπαίδευση αυτή να προσαρμόζεται στην εξέλιξη των κινδύνων και στην εμφάνιση νέων κινδύνων και να επαναλαμβάνεται σε τακτά χρονικά διαστήματα, εφόσον απαιτείται. Όσον αφορά στις θεματικές ενότητες και στη διάρκεια της εκπαίδευσης των αντιπροσώπων ασφάλειας αυτά καθορίζονται στο περί Διαχείρισης Θεμάτων Ασφάλειας και Υγείας στην Εργασία (Εκπαίδευση Εργοδοτουμένων, Αυτοεργοδοτουμένων, Μελών της ΕΣΥΠΠ, Αντιπροσώπων Ασφάλειας και Μελών Επιτροπών Ασφάλειας) Διάταγμα του 2021 (Κ.Δ.Π. 238/2021)

Conference EEN Cyprus – Building Business Resilience

We would like to inform you that the “Enterprise Europe Network – EEN Cyprus” is organizing a festive conference on Tuesday, 10th of October, 2023, at the Royal Hall in Nicosia, at 9 a.m., for the 15 years of the European Network as well as the 30 years of the European Single Market.

Additionally, the Conference will consist of short lectures on the following important topics aimed at business resilience:

Business compliance with the regulatory framework (30 years of the Single Market).
Cost control and monitoring mechanism.
Investment in modern technological systems for data protection and utilization.
