The CCCI informs you that the Final Conference of the European project EULEP – European Learning Experience Platform will take place on 4 March 2026, 10:30–17:45, in Brussels, with the possibility of online participation.

The EULEP project has been implemented over the past four years in collaboration with 19 partners from eight European countries, under the coordination of EUROCHAMBRES, strengthening the connection between the business community and Vocational Education and Training (VET) at European level. CCCI actively participated as the national partner of Cyprus, playing a key role in bridging labour market needs with the development of modern skills and in shaping learning ecosystems focused on enhancing business competitiveness.
Within the framework of the project, CCCI successfully implemented the “Train the Trainers” programme in emerging technologies, with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and Social Innovation (SI), strengthening trainers’ capacities in areas of strategic importance for digital transformation. In parallel, it organised a series of free seminars, offering opportunities for practical application of knowledge and direct transfer of know-how to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through these activities, 117 SMEs in Cyprus benefited from free specialised training, significantly enhancing their digital and operational skills.

The Final Conference marks the completion of this important European initiative. During the event, the main results and tools developed within the project will be presented, while a broader discussion will take place on the role of VET in strengthening business competitiveness and promoting excellence in skills development at European level.

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry informs its members of the event entitled “Why Governance Matters Always. The Role of Directors”, which marks the official launch of the Cyprus Institute of Directors & Corporate Governance (CyIoDCG).

The event will take place on Monday, 9 March 2026, from 15:00 to 17:30, at the Auditorium of the Bank of Cyprus Head Offices in Nicosia. The keynote speaker will be Professor Ludo Van der Heyden, Professor of Corporate Governance at INSEAD.

Το Κυπριακό Εμπορικό και Βιομηχανικό Επιμελητήριο σας ενημερώνει ότι έχει τεθεί σε δημόσια διαβούλευση προσχέδιο νομοθεσίας με τίτλο «Οι περί Ασφάλειας Δικτύων και Συστημάτων Πληροφοριών (Τέλη) Κανονισμοί», το οποίο βρίσκεται ακόμη σε προκαταρκτικό στάδιο και δεν έχει οριστικοποιηθεί.

Το προσχέδιο Κανονισμών προνοεί τη ρύθμιση της επιβολής και είσπραξης τελών χρηματοδότησης αποκλειστικά από οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ενδέχεται να χαρακτηριστούν από την αρμόδια Αρχή ως «βασικές» ή «σημαντικές οντότητες», σύμφωνα με την ισχύουσα και υπό διαμόρφωση νομοθεσία για την ασφάλεια δικτύων και συστημάτων πληροφοριών.

Ο εν λόγω χαρακτηρισμός αφορά οντότητες που δραστηριοποιούνται σε τομείς αυξημένης κρισιμότητας και γίνεται κατόπιν επίσημης αξιολόγησης από την αρμόδια Αρχή. Διευκρινίζεται ότι το προσχέδιο δεν αφορά το σύνολο των επιχειρήσεων, ούτε συνεπάγεται αυτόματη υπαγωγή όλων των οργανισμών στο πεδίο εφαρμογής των προτεινόμενων ρυθμίσεων.

Σκοπός των προτεινόμενων τελών είναι η κάλυψη των διοικητικών δαπανών της αρμόδιας Αρχής για την άσκηση των αρμοδιοτήτων της στον τομέα της κυβερνοασφάλειας, όπως η εποπτεία, η παρακολούθηση της συμμόρφωσης και η διαχείριση περιστατικών κυβερνοασφάλειας.

Το ΚΕΒΕ ενθαρρύνει τα μέλη του να μελετήσουν το περιεχόμενο της πρότασης και να υποβάλουν τυχόν σχόλια ή εισηγήσεις στο πλαίσιο της διαβούλευσης. Το σχετικό υλικό, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του κειμένου του νομοσχεδίου και του Επεξηγηματικού Εγγράφου, είναι διαθέσιμο ΕΔΩ. Η προθεσμία υποβολής σχολίων λήγει στις 27.2.2026.

Τι χρειάζεται για να συμμετάσχετε:

1. Για να υποβάλετε τη γνώμη σας, χρειάζεται πρώτα να κάνετε Εγγραφή στην πλατφόρμα η-Διαβούλευση, κάνοντας κλικ ΕΔΩ και συμπληρώνοντας τα στοιχεία σας (email, όνομα χρήστη κλπ).
2. Στη συνέχεια θα λάβετε email για να επιβεβαιώσετε τον λογαριασμό σας.
3. Μετά την επιβεβαίωση, κάνετε login στην πλατφόρμα.
4. Σε περίπτωση που παρουσιαστεί οποιοδήποτε τεχνικό πρόβλημα με τον κωδικό πρόσβασης, μπορείτε να επικοινωνήσετε με την Υπεύθυνη Λειτουργό της Αρχής Ψηφιακής Ασφάλειας στο email: diamando.pitsilidou@dsa.ee.cy
5. Μόλις συνδεθείτε, μπορείτε να δείτε τη διαβούλευση και να υποβάλετε τις παρατηρήσεις σας.
