The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) wishes to inform its members that the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Lebanon has issued a non-binding Expression of Interest (EOI) as part of a market-sounding exercise for the project titled:“Development of Rene Mouawad – Qlayaat Airport (OLKA)”.
This preliminary process aims to assess market interest and gather information from potential investors, operators, and companies with relevant experience in airport development, management, or related infrastructure projects.
Interested companies are invited to review and complete Schedule A (Acknowledgement Form) and Schedule B (List of Required Documents), as attached here Schedules A B-Acknowledgement and Registration 3-Oct-2025.
Please note that: The EOI is non-binding and intended solely for market sounding purposes. Participation at this stage does not constitute prequalification or a commitment on behalf of either party. The Ministry reserves the right to amend or cancel the process without liability. Completed forms and supporting documentation should be submitted directly to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Lebanon by the specified deadline.

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom, is organising a two-day event titled Cyprus–United Kingdom Defence Industry Day, which will take place in London from 10 to 11 December 2025 (alternative dates 9 – 10 December 2025) at the Cyprus High Commission.
The event aims to:
• highlight the capabilities of the Cypriot defence industry and innovation,
• strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of defence and technology,
• facilitate networking between Cypriot and British companies,
• promote trade and investment partnerships.
The programme includes presentations from government and industry bodies, as well as dedicated sessions for participating companies to showcase their technologies. The thematic areas include cyber defence, UAVs and artificial intelligence, counter-drone technologies, materials, space applications, energy & environment, and communications.
